Sedos has won three NODA (National Operatic and Dramatic Association) District Awards and two of our programmes have been shortlisted for a programme award.

Sedos NODA Awards: four of our shows are recognised in the latest awards

Our winners are:

The Pat Redhead Award for Best Drama: When the Rain Stops Falling
The Charles Sumner Award for Best Male in a Play: Sam Barnes, as Gabriel York in When the Rain Stops Falling
The Harvey Kesselman Comedy Award: Kate Gledhill as Edwin Drood/Datchery in The Mystery of Edwin Drood

These District Awards cover the period 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2022, a longer time period than normal because of the disruption caused by Covid-19. All District winner are eligible to be considered for Regional Awards, which are presented at the NODA London AGM and Celebration on Saturday 19 June at The Radlett Centre.

Our shortlisted programes are both up for the June King Memorial Trophy for programme design (basic class). The shortlisted programmes are:

The Musical of Musicals (The Musical) – designed by Clare Harding
Ophelia Thinks Harder – designed by Olly Levett and Luke Phillippo

The programme awards cover the period from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2021.
