Sedos has won four National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) district awards for our 2024 shows.
These awards are for shows between April 2024 and January 2025. All district winners are eligible to be considered for the regional awards which will be presented, along with the district winner certificates, on Sunday 22 June at The Radlett Centre as part of the NODA London AGM and Celebration Day.
Our winners are:
The Molly Harle Award for best female character in a musical: Afope Rachelle Ojomo as Celie in The Color Purple
The Charles Sumner Award for best male character in a play: Sam Sugarman as Richard in Richard III
The Kathleen Oyler Award for chorus work: Sunday in the Park with George
The Joe Putnam Award for best production of a musical: The Color Purple
Huge congratulations to Rachelle, Sam and the casts, production teams and bands of The Color Purple, Sunday in the Park with George and Richard III.
