Sedos has been recognised four times in the National Operatic and Dramaic Asssociation (NODA) district awards for 2024.

These awards cover the period 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024. All district winners are eligible to be considered for the regional awards which will be presented, along with the district winner certificates, on Sunday 16 June at The Radlett Centre as part of the NODA London AGM and Celebration. Winners of the society-nominated awards are also announced on this day.

Our district winners are:

The Sybil Conway Award for best female character in a play: Sorrel Brown as Mrs White in Clue

The Eric Watsham Award for best cameo performance in a play or musical: Katie Sterland as Eilidh in Sunshine on Leith

Shortlisted for:

The Shinfield Players scenic design award (in memory of Pat Barr): the set of Just So, designed and created by a team led by Dan Saunders, Andrew Laidlaw, George Langdown and Jon Haines

Society-nominated award nomination:

The Shelly Lemesh Award for the unsung hero: Adam Coppard
