Angels In America Ensemble Auditions

Angels In America are excited to add four singing ensemble members to the existing cast of eight.

We are looking for four talented vocalists to add an a capella soundscape to the show as well as aiding in non-speaking roles throughout both parts of the play.

ABOUT SEDOS'S ANGELS IN AMERICA

Angels in America is a two-part epic play by Tony Kushner, set in New York City during the 1980s AIDS crisis. The play follows interconnected characters whose private lives reflect political, moral and spiritual turmoil in America.

We are looking for four versatile acapella singers (what we are calling our foursemble) to form a small, highly physical vocal ensemble within the world of Angels in America.

This is not a traditional chorus or solely off-stage vocal role: the foursemble will be visible and integral to the storytelling, existing somewhere between characters, musicians, storytellers and the world around them.

You do not need to identify primarily as an actor or a singer or a dancer. We are looking for performers who relish the space between all of them.
