Runs every Monday night, 7-9pm, Brewers Hall Garden, EC2V 7HR

Sedance is on every Monday and what better way to get in shape, improve your technique or simply enjoy the buzz of dancing! (And what better excuse for a cheeky pop to the local hostelry on a Monday evening to catch up with what's going on in Sedos!)

Sedance runs every Monday from 7-9pm. Classes take place at our rehearsal space at Brewers Hall Garden. The nearest tube is Moorgate.

The class consists of 45mins warm-up, stretch and technical work and 45 mins of learning a routine, with each routine repeated for 2 or 3. The routines are various styles of dance from jazz, musical theatre through to more lyrical.

The class is for everyone, so whether you're an experienced dancer, or you've never danced before, you're more than welcome, and you can do as much or as little as you like. The warm up routines and exercises are set, so you can learn them and then build on your technique, flexibility and posture at your own pace. The atmosphere is very relaxed and supportive, and all dances are performed in groups.

Classes are led by Tom Leonard (Choreographer for Dangerous Liaisons, Legally Blonde and Guys and Dolls) with guest appearances from Kim Barker – and occasional other guest teachers.

Please wear something comfortable that allows you freedom of movement (i.e. something stretchy, and no jeans) and for the warm-up, if possible please wear shoes in which you can point your feet (or do it in socks!). Please let the session leader know of any physical impairment before the class begins and work at your own pace.
